High School High

This is scary to hear. From ABC News, In a 2005 study conducted by Harris Polling, "From Teasing to Torment," teachers reported that middle school students were 30 percent more likely to be teased about their sexual orientation than high school students. And that number is kind of growing.

Also growing is the LGBT student groups in middle and high schools, however they don't have a lot of support or encouragement due to the lack of knowledge or just good old fashion ignorance. But whatever the case maybe, they have to help our LGBT youth. For some of us, high school was a scarring experience, at least now they have a fighting chance. I really hope the PTAs, faculty, and city officials understand that.
