TV Show Deaths

ABC gets hit hard with 3 cancellations: Eli Stone, Dirty. Sexy. Money., and my favorite Pushing Daisies.

I don't get it. Crappy shows like Gossip Girl and 90210 are still on and Pushing Daisies is canceled!

The horror!

Pushing Daisies had its charm, but that underlying solving-deaths thing annoyed the hell out of me. They should have been a show about nothing - but with dead people. That would have held my imagination.

I agree - I totally don't get the whole "Gossip Girl" phenomenon. And I didn't watch the FIRST 90210, so I could care less about this version.

Now if they bring back Melrose Place, I will SO be there!!

XOXO

P.S. - Thanks for your recent comments. I really appreciate it.

I've done some research into how television evolved. Essentially what they put forth is the basest form of pablum.

Every now and then something intelligent and witty makes it through only to be canceled.

It's why I've pretty much tuned out TV and Radio. It's too simplistic and overly commercialized.

I've taken to listening to NPR podcasts, and a whole bunch of music podcasts.
