Newt Gingrich gets a Boost in the GOP Playing Field

Newt the Hut receives a huge endorsement from the New Hampshire Union Leader.
"We are in critical need of the innovative, forward-looking strategy and positive leadership that Gingrich has shown he is capable of providing," The New Hampshire Union Leader said in its front-page editorial, which was as much a promotion of Gingrich as a discreet rebuke of Romney.

"We don't back candidates based on popularity polls or big-shot backers. We look for conservatives of courage and conviction who are independent-minded, grounded in their core beliefs about this nation and its people, and best equipped for the job," the editorial said.
But will this really hurt Mittens? Maybe not, he has a huge lead in NH, but it's not good for him to lose this endorsement. However, it's good for us. Everybody knows Newt can't win a national election and all this Mitt Hate just sets it up for Obama to take it all.

Never underestimate the power of the Dark Side. We can't sit and just expect that it will go our way. We have to continue to talk to people, point out the flaws, hypocrisies, and bigotries in every candidate and consistently hold them accountable for what they say and do. If we want the president to win again, we can't be idle.
