I haven't read the books yet, but the storyline is similar to the types of short stories I write ( with the exception of my characters being 100% people of color rather then one person of color in the entire movie) so, yes, I will see it opening weekend.
I may wait until it goes On Demand.
I just bought the trilogy of books, so I'll read them first, and then decide on watching the movies.
