14 dead in Shooting at 'Dark Knight' Premiere in a Colorado Theatre

This is tragic. A man open fire in during the premier of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, CO. Over 50 were wounded, 14 are dead. The shooter also had explosives in his car and home.

Here is a couple of clips

President Obama responds:
Michelle and I are shocked and saddened by the horrific and tragic shooting in Colorado.

Federal and local law enforcement are still responding, and my Administration will do everything that we can to support the people of Aurora in this extraordinarily difficult time.

We are committed to bringing whoever was responsible to justice, ensuring the safety of our people, and caring for those who have been wounded.

As we do when confronted by moments of darkness and challenge, we must now come together as one American family.

All of us must have the people of Aurora in our thoughts and prayers as they confront the loss of family, friends, and neighbors, and we must stand together with them in the challenging hours and days to come.
My heart goes out to the people in Aurora.

This is indeed a tragedy. Yet the NRA continues to fight against any sort of waiting periods between purchase and possession of firearms.

The shooter's mother lives here in San Diego and he had Tennessee plates on his car. As soon as we find out more I would not be surprised if he grew up in East County, listened to Rush Limbaugh and that clown Sean Hannity and is one of those "good 'mericans"

I don't care where he's from, he's deranged, plain & simple.
Can we as a nation just have 12 hours to mourn without the need to fucking politicize??
