When Obama met Edie

President Obama thanked Edie Windsor for her victory in the United States v. Windsor case.

Most of us know her story, but if you don't know about the case, here's the quick and dirty: Edie filed a case over paying nearly $400,000 in federal estate taxes after her wife, Thea Spyer, passed away in 2007. The interesting part was in New York, her marriage is recognized, but the federal government did not. So, Edie stood up and challenged the system.

Not the proper story, but very close (I think). Anywho, President Obama wanted to thank Edie in person... How cool!
